BoilingPage is a real-time statistics platform that shows what's hot among people in different verticals. As we all know, people love to share and discuss about their favorite webpages, movies they watched, music they listened to, books they read and so on in social networks like Twitter, MySpace, Facebook etc. We mine these conversations, organize them properly, based on which, we'll show what's hot among people in real time.

Precisely, we convert the unstructured conversations happening in social networks to meaningful structured statistical data and let other developers create useful applications based on these data using our APIs.

Currently we focus on six different verticals: Hot WebPages, Hot Movies, Hot Music, Hot TV Shows, Hot Books and Hot Products. We are working on adding more verticals.

To start with, we have created a real-time search engine (an application) based on our statistical data for the above mentioned verticals that'll enable users to search and find the most recently popular (we call them HOT) ones in these verticals.

When you search for a topic in Hot WebPages, you will find real-time popular webpages as results. Say, if you search for 'Obama', we'll show you the webpages related to Obama that are popular among people in real time as opposed to finding all articles related to Obama in traditional search engines.

More than just displaying hot webpages, we'll show recommendations for each hot page that'll help you discover more interesting webpages. You may also create your favorite list by clicking 'Bookmark' and we'll automatically bring personalized recommendations based on your favorites. Here's the best part: You don't have to keep refreshing our webpage to find new updates on a topic; you can simply register a topic as a feed and you'll start receiving automatic updates by email.
